Finished the Santa Barbara International Marathon last weekend and it has SPOILED me big time. I am so hooked on running marathons in sunny climates. Living in the northwest, I have adapted and grown accustomed to running in the rain and clouds. But running in full sunshine and 60 degree weather last weekend, no contest.
Hey Linda! Congrats on your Santa Barbara Marathon finish! Yes, it certainly is nice to run in warmer weather. It has been very cold in the PNW. After running Honolulu in December, I spent Christmas in San Diego with my sis and Dad. It sure was nice to run in shorts midday. Hope to see you on your next trip south or perhaps at a race somewhere. :)
